Villa Visconti
Between the 1970s and 2003, the town of Bietigheim-Bissingen redeveloped its historic town centre. From the early 1980s, this involved sculpture exhibitions and the artistic design of public squares and parks, with a clear focus on figurative works. The result was an art ensemble that today enjoys a reputation far beyond the region.
The works of Jürgen Goertz are particularly noteworthy: The Ku(h)riosum, the Tower of Grey Horses and the overall artistic design of the Villa Visconti.
